Here are some photo's we snapped in our backyard after church. It sure was a beautiful day to celebrate our Lord's resurrection!!! We also had such a great day spending time our family!

Today my handsome husband and I are going out to celebrate our 3 year wedding anniversary! I'm so so excited. Sometimes I just have to pinch myself to believe that I'm actually married to this wonderful guy. I'm so blessed to have him in my life, as my husband, my best friend. Happy 3 Year Anniversary to Us!! So here we have some before shots of our nursery. Before this special room became the "nursery", it was...um, not really used. We called it the "office", but really it was a junk room with the doors permanently closed. With a little {a lot} bit of TLC, Tom was able to whip this room in shape. Here are the most current pictures of our little one's nursery. We're pretty much finished but we need our precious baby in the crib! Our nursery is a story book/scandinavian/nordic theme. The inspiration came from a old Hansel and Gretel painting that my mom and I found. The painting is currently in a green frame on the blue shelf above the rocking chair. My mom painted the painting above our changing table. The painting shows two bear cubs playing together in the woods. Happy Birthday Dear Handsome! Phil. 1:3 I thank my God every time I remember you. photo taken on last year's birthday

I love  this time of year when my neighbor's tree starts to bloom.  I would love to have this tree in our front yard.  At about this same time last year, Handsome and I made a trek out to one of our favorite  places in the whole wide world to see one of our favorite  people in the whole wide world...my grandma.  Trips to grandma's house are always special-filled with great chats, lots of laughs, and lots of scrabble!  On this particular visit, we had a mission- we were looking for some trees to take from her land to put in our ever-so-desperate yard.  We managed a four hour car ride home with seven  trees stuffed into a toyota camry! {and yes, I said seven } Sadly, only three of the trees are thriving today..sniff sniff.  Next visit, I want to keep my eye out for a beautiful blossom tree! Our tree is blooming too!!! {I think I can, I think I can...}

Can I just say that after 2 years of marriage I love this man MORE !  This is my favorite picture of him that I took on our trip to Mexico.   I'm a little sad because it's not completely in focus but it still makes me smile.....a lot!
