Favorite Time Of Year.

The Fourth is always one of my favorite times of the year. I so look forward to our family and friends getting together and having a 4th of July {blast}! It usually includes relaxation, chaos, great food, swimming, sun, and fireworks! Tom and I have been making it a tradition to enjoy fireworks at Ruttger's Lodge on the 3rd.  They have a live jazz band and a cozy ambiance which we love.  On the fourth, we like to stick close to the cabin and watch great shows that are put on by our neighbors all around the lake! This year, the cabins around our lake put on such amazing shows!! We just took the boat out and watched the fireworks all around us. Here are some camera-captured memories from our weekend....

    Love the picture of the fireworks at Ruttgers. I need a copy of that for my paintings.

I'm wondering what my husband will think when he asks me "What did you do today?" and my answer won't involve shopping! Lately...

Hans is 4 months old today! I haven't yet taken his "official" 4 month photo's but I still wanted to share a couple of pictures I took this week. Hans loves to sit in his high chair now. He likes to play with some toys on there but mainly he just loves to gnaw on the table... Hans can now roll over from tummy to back and from back to tummy. He does it ALL of the time. Here he is after rolling onto his tummy. Such a cutie! I will be sure to post his 4 month pictures soon, along with his 4 month "update".
